Horgen

Horgen (hôr`gən), town (1990 pop. 16,463), Zürich canton, N Switzerland, on the Lake of Zürich. A textile center in the 17th cent., Horgen today has manufactures of electronic equipment. There is a noteworthy 18th-century church in the town.
