Ultrasound comes in handy when the frogs try to communicate over the noisy waterfalls near their home in Huangshan, China, says Albert Feng, a biologist at the University of Illinois. Concave-eared torrent frogs are found on a mountainside next to a rock-filled stream at China's Huangshan Hot Springs.
