Kolding

Kolding (kôl`dĭng), city (1992 pop. 45,514), Vejle co., S central Denmark, a port on Kolding Fjord, an arm of the Lille Bælt. It is a commercial, industrial, and fishing center that produces ships, machinery, and textiles. Of note in the city are Koldinghus, a royal castle built in 1248 that now houses a historical museum, and the oldest stone church (built in the 13th cent.) in Denmark.

With its predominant use of anarchists' favorite color, a militaristic-sounding title, "Theater of Operations," and the prominence of motifs such as a flag and an eagle, one could be forgiven for likening Francois's show to those of younger European artists like Marc Bijl, Gardar Eide Einarsson, or Jakob Kolding, all of whom channel capital-P politics into their art.
In the town of Kolding in the southern part of the Jutland peninsula, Denmark, three outlets of dioxin were identified.
