In the new experiments, Tomas Bohr and his colleagues at the Technical University of Denmark in Lyngby observed liquids in a cylindrical, Plexiglas container that doesn't actually turn. Bell then selects six sheets with which to form a cube, Inconel-coated sides facing inward, and places the result atop a tall, clear Plexiglas base. Adjoining the western edge of the building between Sixth and Seventh Avenues, along West 48th Street, this public space contains a waterfall and transparent plexiglas tunnel that pedestrians can traverse. |
