Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty Is Signed (1987)

Signed by US President Ronald Reagan and USSR General Secretary Mikhail Gorbachev, the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty represented a historic shift in superpower relations.
