Disco is a style of dance music characterized by hypnotic rhythms, repetitive lyrics, and electronically produced sounds. In 1820, he discovered that electric current passing through a wire can deflect a nearby compass needle, a phenomenon that inspired the development of electromagnetic theory. Rising Attacks on Medical Workers in War Zones

Despite being prohibited by the Geneva Conventions, attacks on medical personnel and facilities have been increasing in recent years. A new report from the International Committee of the Red Cross documents 600 attacks on doctors, nurses, ambulances, and hospitals between mid-2008 and the end of 2010. According to the Red Cross, in conflict zones, it is not uncommon for ambulances to be deliberately delayed, hospitals to be taken over by combatants, or medical personnel to be kept from doing their jobs, either because the environment is too dangerous or because they are directly being targeted for attack.
