First, of course, is reapportionment and taking away the power of lawmakers to select their own voters.
I am an attorney and Republican political consultant in California, and have always been interested in the issue of reapportionment.
Debra Bowen, D-Redondo Beach, will likely take over Perata's old post as chair of the Elections and Reapportionment committee.
